The Trek Fuel EX is Trek's full-suspension trail bike and one of its most versatile: it climbs well, is fun on singletrack and descends with confidence. The Fuel EX Gen 7 has adjustable geometry so you can tune it to how you ride.
Which Fuel EX should I choose?
- Fuel EX 5 and Fuel EX 8: aluminium frame. The most direct way into full-suspension trail riding.
- Fuel EX 9, 9.8 and 9.9: better components as the number goes up; the 9.8 and 9.9 have a carbon frame.
- Fuel+ EX and Fuel EXe: the electric versions, to climb more and ride further with the same trail feel.
