Choosing the right size is the most important part of buying a bike: the right size is more comfortable, easier to control and helps you avoid back, knee and hand pain. These are the charts Trek uses for each type of bike. They are a guide: every model has its own geometry, and we set the bike up for you in the shop before you take it home.
How to measure yourself
- Height: barefoot, standing with your back against a wall.
- Inside leg: barefoot, hold a book between your legs, raise it until you feel pressure like a saddle, and measure from the top edge of the book to the floor.
If your height falls between two sizes, your inside leg decides: longer legs, the larger size; shorter legs, the smaller one.
